By booking any tour or activity with Tanzanite Gems Tours Company, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making a reservation.
All bookings must be made in writing via email or through our official website.
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.
Bookings within 30 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Refunds are issued as follows:
60+ days before departure: 80% refund
30–59 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 30 days: No refund
No refunds for unused services, no-shows, or early departures.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers.
It must cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
Clients are responsible for obtaining insurance prior to travel.
Travelers must be in good physical condition for tours, including visits to gem mining areas or walking tours.
Disclose any pre-existing health conditions or medications before your trip.
Clients must ensure they have a valid passport, visa, and required vaccinations.
Yellow fever vaccination may be required depending on your country of origin.
Included:
Professional guides and tour staff
Transportation in comfortable 4×4 or tour vehicles
Park or mine entrance fees (if specified in the itinerary)
Meals and bottled water as noted in your package
Excluded:
International or domestic flights
Visa fees
Travel insurance
Tips for guides/drivers
Personal expenses (souvenirs, drinks, laundry, etc.)
Optional activities not listed in the itinerary
Tanzanite Gems Tours Company is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, or other events beyond our control.
Tours involve inherent risks.
Tanzanite Gems Tours Company and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by third parties or external factors.
Photos or videos may be taken during tours for marketing purposes.
By participating, you consent to the use of media unless you notify us in writing before the tour.
Report issues immediately to your guide or tour leader for resolution.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the tour ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Legal disputes shall be settled in Tanzanian courts.
